but who is this referrring to?
"Spies tell The Minutes that a Big East coach who shall remain nameless (38) recently got into a halftime argument with one of his assistants in a hallway outside the locker room. According to a source, it escalated to the point where punches were thrown."

The smart money would be on Bobby G, or perhaps Huggins. _________________ "The fate of the Red Storm's season will rest on the shoulders of Malik Booth and his backup....whoever that might be" - Bill Raftery |

I would bet the ranch on it that it was Bobby G. _________________ "This is a karate dojo, not a knitting class. You don't come into my dojo, drop a challenge and leave, old man. Now you get your boy on the mat, or you and I will have a major problem." |

Seton Hall Clears Gonzo; Roberts Will Return at St. John's
There won't be any lack of storylines heading into today's big Seton Hall at St. John's game (4 p.m., MSG), where both teams are fighting to make the Big East tournament. Both coaches are currently in the headlines...
Despite several Internet reports indicating that Seton Hall head coach Bobby Gonzalez fought with an assistant at halftime of the Pirates Feb. 17 home game with West Virginia, Seton Hall athletic director Joe Quinlan has issued a public statement denying the incident ever happened. Gonzalez and Richie Adubato, the father of the assistant in question, Scott Adubato, also deny the incident in a published report.
Pat Forde of ESPN.com initially reported a blind item that said "a Big East coach who shall remain nameless recently got into a halftime argument with one of his assistants in a hallway outside the locker room. According to a source, it escalated to the point where punches were thrown."
The Blog The Big Lead then reported that two independent sources confirmed the incident, differing slightly on what happened.
The sources say that on February 17th, as Seton Hall was headed to the locker room for halftime, trailing West Virginia 45-30, an agitated Gonzalez went “nose-to-nose” with an assistant coach. (We have emailed two assistant coaches about this, but have not heard back and thus we’re going to hold off posting a name. We don’t expect to get a response, but if we do, we’ll update the post.) This is where our sources disagree - one source claims it was a very heated argument and other assistants intervened before punches were thrown; the other source claims punches were thrown (backing up Forde’s blind item). Apparently, there were multiple witnesses, including West Virginia coach Bob Huggins.
HallDan from the Seton Hall board, normally a good source for all things Pirates, reports that no punches were thrown.
"No fight took place between Bobby and Scotty," HallDan wrote. "No punches were thrown. No witnesses saw anything of the kind. It never happened.
Here's what started the speculation During the game, Scotty yelled something at an official. The official walked over and told Bobby to tell his assistant to keep quiet or the bench would be accessed a technical foul. This warning was given previously and our coach had words with Scott who in the heat of the moment yelled back at Bobby. That was the end of it. Nothing else was said.
At halftime, the coaches were headed toward the locker room when they heard loud noises. When they got there two players were yelling at each other and had to be separated. Their names will not be noted here by me.
The reason for the argument between the players stemmed from their disappointment in the team's play. The coaches then cleared the hallway by the locker room and calmed the team down. The players worked everything out within the next few days and are now good friends again. In fact they have talked about rooming with each other next year.
These are the facts as given to me from the people involved. _________________
